Love Classic Cars!

Okay this is just an extension to my previous post, "A Little Vacation" And the main reason I went down to San Diego. To catch the car show at Del Mar Fairgrounds. So here are a few of the cars for your enjoyment and I've got to get to work!

If you'd like to check out other classic car show pics, you can check out my site on The "Outlaws Car Club" here http://kkrafts.multiply.com/

  1. I love classic "hot rods", customs and muscle cars too. Hope you get time to read my adult vampire romance novel, "Immortal Relations" (AMAZON & KINDLE)! The "thumbnail" picture is of Jack Roush and I (I own one of his 05's but it is highly modified beyond his mods).

    1. David you're terrible! LOL! But the cars are awesome! Think of all the time and money they have put into them.

    1. Yes, vintage! All cars at the show had to be pre 70's. Out here a lot of the 50's cars are really popular.

  5. Cool beans! It's really amazing how many types of classic cars are out there: from old school hot rods, to stylish Oldsmobile, and up to the rugged rat rods. They're like a cross between great car manufacturing and art.

  6. Always great to see a fellow classic car enthusiast, who could possibly dislike such outstanding pieces of history? I really enjoyed going over these photographs, some beautiful cars were featured at the show in San Diego. I recently got the classic car insurance renewed on my 1969 Ford, and taking it out for a spin really reminded me of the buzz associated with driving such elegant cars. It's superior in every way to driving something new! It just doesn't feel the same at all.

I really hope to see more similar articles from yourself, with more pictures! Loved it.

  7. Hi Emma
Yes the classics are better built and a lot of fun to cruise around in. A '69 Ford? What model? We have a 57 Chevy. I did another post of a different car show on my other blog and you can find it here http://karensdifferentcorners.wordpress.com/2012/06/11/car-show/

  8. Visiting car shows is really fun! You can find cool cars like these, which you can rarely find on the road! By the way, we have the same taste in cars! As a car collector, I consider vintage cars to be my favorites. They just have this air of elegance and class around them that is perfect for any occasion! It is a good thing that despite of the number of new models rolling out of the factory, there are still people like you who greatly appreciate the uniqueness and elegance of vintage cars.

  9. You can learn a lot about cars when you attend a car show. There are many experts present there, and you can get great advice on how to properly maintain and restore a car. After attending a car show, you might find yourself restoring your own car and turning it into a classic one as well. :)

  10. The reason I love vintage cars isn’t Social or Cultural. But I love looking at, driving and hearing classic cars (i don’t enjoy working on them so much)

I own an old school Renault 5 GT Turbo. Most people don’t count this as a good classic car, but I don’t care what people say or think. I love my old Renault 5, the look, the smell the way it drives. It’s just my cup of tea.

  11. I have been to a lot of car shows already and I usually see classics like these at every event. Still, I am amazed every time I see vintage cars, even if it’s only in pictures. They really look fabulous!
